I contacted Mario in Desperate times

When I’m suicidal and want to drive to LA

I ask him for a night on his couch

He says no.

I say let’s eat

He says no

I say, “Can we please meet at a church so I can give you a hug”

He ignores

He calls me the next day

Mario has so much money he doesn’t know what to do with his time

I’m broke

I’m homeless

We used to be FAMILY

I don’t know anymore
